Henry Harrison died at Billinge Hospital in October 1937, according to his death certificate. Henry’s daughter, Nellie Harrison, also died at Billinge Hospital in 1940, as well as his sister Margaret, who died there in 1943. The death certificates of Henry, Nellie, and Margaret all give the place of death as the street address, 154 Upholland Road.
Billinge Hospital was located about three miles southwest of Poolstock. The hospital was closed in July 2004 and is being (or has been) demolished to make way for a housing development. The hospital is described both in Wikipedia and Wigan World.
