Research Notes
The 1851 census for John and Jemima Harrison records them living with sons William, age 20 and Henry, age 8. They also had a son John, age 4, who would have been born circa 1837. John Sr. was a farmer living in Adlington. Along with the mother’s unusual given name of Jemima this makes it almost certain that these are the same families.
