Biography
James Harrison was the second son of John Harrison and Jemima Whittle. He was born at the couple’s farm in Coppull and baptized at the Coppull parish church on 1 May 1814. He died at the age of about eight months and was buried at Standish St. Wilfrid’s church on 2 Jan 1815. His grave has not been located.
John and Jemima named their third son, born in October 1815, after his deceased brother.
