Research Notes
Martha Harrison’s maiden name was Mason. Therefore it is likely that John Mason was her father and William and Elizabeth were her siblings. Elizabeth Mason, almost certainly the same woman recorded in this census, was living with and caring for the family in the fall of 1894 when Edward and Martha died. She was also living with the family at the time of the 1891 census and is recorded there as a “sister.”
