Research Notes
This is probably the baptismal record of Henry Ball, husband of Betty and grandfather of Ellen. The name, date and place of birth all match. In addition Henry named his first son Edward, a strong indicator of his father’s name.
The International Genealogical Index references this same record and, in addition, gives the mother’s given name as Ellen. It is not know where this information originated but it is clearly not in the original baptismal record.
