625 Fortune Street, Pointe-Saint-Charles, Montreal

Harold Harrison and Agnes Durie were married at Grace Church on July 28, 1910. Harold’s cousin, Roland Woods, and Mildred Arkwell Hart were almost certainly married at Grace Church in the summer of 1921 although we don’t have their marriage certificate. Roland, Mildred and Roland’s mother Jemima Harrison were members of the congregation at Grace Church from 1921 to to 1926 when they lived on Hibernia Road, a few blocks from the church. Roland Woods was the People’s Warden at Grace Church in 1923 and 1924. He was also a member of the Chimes Committee in 1925.

Grace Church was constructed in 1892 and was closed recently. The Société d’Histoire de Pointe-Saint-Charles website contains a brief history of Grace Church as does the Heritage Montreal website.
