69 Heath Street
Golborne, Lancs.

69 Heath Street in Golborne was the home of Joseph, Jemima and Roland Woods. The family moved there from Oldfield Street in Wigan sometime between 1909 and 1911. They probably resided at the house until 1913 when Joseph emigrated to Canada and his family later followed.

69 Heath Street was a relatively large home for the time and place, having six rooms including a parlour. Doris Whitfield Darbyshire stayed with the Woods family and mentions the attic and parlour in her verse, The Photo Album.
