Biography
Lillian Hannah Gilbert was the first child of John Gilbert and Agnes Dunseath. She was born on October 24, 1890 at the home of her parents at14 Briggs Avenue in Toronto. Lillie was enumerated in the 1891 census living at the family home, age 5 months. Her family subsequently moved to 746 Gerrard Street where her brother Albert was born in 1895. They later moved again to 49 Howie Avenue. Lillian died there of kidney failure on February 15, 1901 at the age of ten. She is buried in St. James Cemetery & Crematorium.
