Biography
Joan Speakman was, to our knowledge, the only child of Samuel Speakman and Janet Hart Mawdsley. She was born on 26 November 1924 in Poulton-le-Fylde, Blackpool. She was present at her mother’s death in January 1985. At that time she was living with her parents (or vice versa) at 162 Gateacre Park Drive in Liverpool. Her married name, according to her mother’s death certificate, was Joan Williams.
