Roland Woods and Mildred Arkwell Hart lived at 43 Wicksteed Avenue, and raised their family there, from 1926 to about 1952.
Roland purchased the property in September, 1926 for $7,500 from Mount Royal Homesites Ltd. according to a report in the Montreal Gazette. No house was listed at that address in the Montreal directories prior to 1926 suggesting it was part of a new development.
